I was drawn into pregnancy and birth as a young child attending La Leche League meetings with my mother who was a leader for LLL. Seeing the side of natural birth before I was exposed to hospital birth forever changed me. I became drawn to midwifery in my 20's and have been hooked on birth work ever since! I love to be able to serve a community of women and help keep them safe while also helping to make the birthing experience positive, empowering and transformative. After many years of working at a busy birthing center, I decided to venture out to open my own solo midwifery practice. When I am not midwife-ing you can find me gardening or painting with watercolors.

I’m from St. Petersburg, Florida but came to Fort Myers, Florida for college in 2014. I graduated from FGCU with my bachelor's in healthcare administration in 2018 and realized that was not my ultimate passion. Some will say the journey to midwifery is a calling, I truly believe that is my case. I am the eldest of 7 siblings so I'm naturally a nurturer. By way of my own health journey, I realized the importance of women advocates and trust in your care team! I enjoy teaching and learning and am a natural leader. All of which drew me into this profession where I’m currently enrolled at Heritage School of Midwifery. In my personal time I enjoy writing, mild exercise and pouring into myself. It is my absolute joy to be on this path, and my hope is to bring impact, representation, and support to this team. A very special thank you to Maureen for her willingness to teach and guide future birth workers!

The urge to stay curious has forever been my driving force. Being able to witness and support others during life-changing moments has also been one of my strongest passions and successes. I take great pride in curating a space where others can feel motivated — and if chosen, I make it a mission to stand alongside you during the most vulnerable experiences in this human journey. I have been a registered nurse for 8 years, and some of my other loves include being outside with my pup, attending women’s circles & painting watercolor photos for my friends and family. I am beyond excited for the opportunity to work with this team, especially Maureen so that together we can educate, support & motivate other women in this community!
